Diana Orenstein is a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a private practice in Newton, MA.
Education and Background:
Diana studied nutrition at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her internship at Temple University Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital. She holds a Master's degree in nutrition from University of St. Joseph in Connecticut. She is a board certified Registered Dietitian and holds a Massachusetts state license. In addition to her nutrition education, Diana completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University and holds a Master's degree in education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Diana spent the first part of her career working in the hospital setting providing nutrition education and support to patients with various health and medical backgrounds. During this time she had the opportunity to teach dietetic students from the University of Connecticut and Boston University. Prior to moving into private practice, Diana worked at Newton Wellesley Hospital.
In addition to nutrition counseling, Diana is dedicated to academic scholarship. She has collaborated in the writing and editing of numerous articles, books, and additional educational resources. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Heath Sciences teaching nutrition.
